914World.com _ FS/WANTED: 914 Cars and Rollers _ 1975 2.0 For Sale

Posted by: OU8AVW Mar 2 2023, 03:24 PM

Hi 914 friends, I know flipping is a bad word. I have a friend who needs some quick money. In order to help him out we're working a deal on this 1975 2.0. It seems t be a pretty clean car. He runs a Porsche race shop here near Fort Worth. Some of you may recognize the car. He understands that my interest is to clean it up and sell it on to make a few bucks. It still needs a tune and proper test drive but it seems pretty well sorted. My hope is to get around $22,000 for it. I'm happy to help, take any offer and work a deal with someone looking for a high level driver. I'll be acquiring the car early next week and I will replace the photos with better quality ASAP.
I can't keep it as I am knee deep in restoring my 944 and a Karmann Ghia. PM me and I'll send my phone number.

What I know so far:
2.0 rebuilt about 8 years ago. I am told it has four summers of driving on it. Optical points, stock FI
Car has been parked for about three years. It will be delivered to me running and driving very well.
Tires were new three years ago just before storage.
Dash is nice
Seats are cloth and the driver is worn on the upper bolster.
Decent stereo.
Hell hole was replaced. Not the prettiest, but it looks solid.
Not any real issues present on the rest of the car. Pans, suspension points and both trunks are really nice.
I think the car was orange originally. Silver paint looks pretty darn sweet.
All in all a solid driver that you wouldn't be embarrassed to show off.

Yup, saw the Ghia. Very nice. Looks like you're getting out of the game.
