The 30 914-6 down the production line. Built by PMB Performance, spared no money in build as new, open checkbook build, better than new. 3.0 with FI and original serial number 2.0 case in box clean. Today I am going to say $175,000 OBO or trade for a late Porsche 718 Spyder with auto and cash - Look at my build blog

There was a thread on this car last year.
It's not the last 914-6 built!
It might be the last one built at that plant, but the poster (a high-end re-seller) was "semi" mis-representing the car.
The 914-6 gurus on this site had much to say!
I'd do a bunch of research before believing what they say.
He does have a bunch of what look like super nice cars.

Probably out of most 914 buyers price range but this is far the highest quality 914 build I have ever seen in 30+ years of obsessing over 914s. Needs to be seen in person to fully appreciate it.
The price is a steal when compared to what it would cost to reproduce.

Thanks for all the replies. I am not really looking for an original 914-6. Cost wise these are out of my price range. I prefer a nicely built conversion car with all the GT goodies and a performance -6 engine.

QUOTE(SHooks @ Jan 12 2025, 01:07 PM)

What is the current value of a nice 914 with a 2.7 steel GT flairs
All depends on the build details. A clean steel-flared 914 like in your pics should be at min a $40k car even in a softer market. Considerations:
-what is the detail of the 2.7 engine, was it rebuilt, carb'd, twin plugged?
-transmission details, and any LSD?
-suspension, hub/axle, and brake updates?
-oil cooler details?
Those details can easily add $10-15k.
I know the bigger sixes get all the love but a properly built 2.7 (especially a twin plug or even an MFI setup) with the right transmission setup IMHO fits the character of a conversion/GT style build without adding the complexity and expense of a big six build.
I know build costs aren't a good proxy for resale, but each of my 914s were at least $55-60K and higher to build to a high level. Those I've seen under $50k nearly always have some issue (transmission, interior, engine) that typically explains their discounted price.

Rebuilt trans 901 side shift LSD Regeared, GA 2nd/M 3rd/S 4th/X 5th. Early 930 alloy calipers 911 front suspension turbo tie rods. This is just a short list, I have $95k of receipt from the guy I bought it from, I have $45k in it, purchase price and what I've done sofar as I continue to add stuff. I might sell it and have talked to
@http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showuser=28345 a few times and want to know a fair ask. The prices sound right to me $40k for a car $55k for a good car. I feel like i have a gret car.

This car per the COA was originally Willow Green. Who in their right mind would do a color change especially given what a great period color it was originally!

I think cars like yours should sell for $55k plus. The only challenges are the market remains a bit softer than when during COVID when great examples were fetching bigger money. But I’d stick to your guns if your car is all that - they certainly are more popular than ever and build prices are still increasing.
I know of a local 3.0 build that is excellent (though not a wide body) that is in the $50k range.
Posted by: Cairo94507 Jan 29 2025, 12:35 PM
If you have documentation of all that, I would definitely think $55K plus. Parts are no cheap like they were 20 years ago so building one of these cars is no different than building a 911.

Yes,I have photos and all receipts of the build. I did accept an offer today from a very good friend of mine and your number is very close to what it brought.

SavageGT, the front flares look funny. These are real factory flares. At this point missing engine. Mark
