I got a NOS 914-6 engine rubber mount today
Last i checked they were unobtanium.
I thought i still had one in my stash when the guy from Germany (forgot his name) who's /6 burned to the ground needed one.
Don't know if he ever found a good mount.

Hi Andy,
I bought one from a member here for Matthias.
So he has one

Very cool!
My only concern would be the age of the rubber. It may look great but the rubber exposed to air and ozone may destroy the rubber. Possibly leading to premature failure.
Mikey914 should buy it and reproduce one with polyurethane...

I'm pretty sure AA has reproduced the entire mount.

Can you measure the height from the bottom edge to the mounting surface? I'm looking to reproduce the 914/6 engine mount on the body, but use a later style 911 rubber (and it's available). But I need to know more about that mount to make sure it's direct replacement.
Actually, the more measurements you can provide the better.

I have unfortunately wasted my time, effort and $ buying and returning some of AA's reproductions. It would be better to use a 40 year old German part than any cheap repro from there.
Mark, I might be interested in a spare if you come up with something.

Yes that's me.
The price depends on what used ones are sold for in Germany
Take a look:

From Mittelmotor you get never a new one for 200€, They have them not in stock and if you ask for they tell you that they can deliver a reproduction but not for
this price

Hi Niklas,
I had a call with Mittelmotor today and they told me again that
the part is a reproduction and the OE is not available.
You should clearify your order
Posted by: Niklas May 13 2013, 03:38 PM
It is ok with reproduction than old dry rubber.
I send you picture when get the part.
Mittelmotor have always sent me the best parts.
1500 euro for this part hmmmm.
Niklas
