We should have inventory on 914-6/GT factory style hard lines soon. These are brass lines modeled off the real deal. These mount in the same location the factory did with their original GT lines. These will sell for $600.00 plus shipping.
To complete the routing to the front oil cooler we can also supply the following "Genuine" factory 901.107.331.12 oil lines for $62.00 each! (while "other" retailers stick you for $150.08 on their site!) You can buy a pair from us and still bank some change!!
If you're GT crazy... these are the lines for you.
Hey Eric
What are the chances of adapters to attach the front hoses to RX7 coolers ? ........
and while you're at it all the other kinky stuff for in the engine comp. ? You've already got the PRV
just askin'
Rory
Hey Rory... good to see you here.
Chances are good that the next 6 production units will be pre-bent with "no ends" so they can be custom ordered in any size you'd like. That way, no adapters should be needed.
First set is done and installed:
These used the 28mm ends:
March is the goal on the next 6 sets. (5 sets available now).
Hello!
I have a 914-6 GT Project and I need oils line like this. Do you sent to Puerto Rico? Price includes requires installation attachment? best Regards,
David Pagan
Hi David,
We can ship anywhere. Just a matter of getting them into production at this point. The final buck has been made. The idea was to make the sets without ends and you could custom order the ends needed.
The attachments are standard 911 fare. Not included but available via part number.
I'll check on these as I have others asking.
Eric
Hi Eric did you ever get the hard lines made.
Bruce
Hello Eric!
Are you ready I need the lines! Please email me to work this out!
David Pagan
dpagan@chemtreat.com
Don't know how I missed this thread. Put me down for a set. No rush. mark
I be very interested as well E
Hey Eric,
Did you ever go into production on these?
status ????
3 sets out the door so far. Going slow but going.
I will need a set but it will be a bit before I buy. So much stuff needed to put a six in!
I still want a set
Eric,
Can you explain how your lines are so inferior to the ones sold by Elephant Racing that you charge $1000 less? I see they include the other lines and the thermostat but Holy Cow!
Could it be that you are just an all-round nice guy?
This goes for $1600 plus tax and shipping???
Attached image(s)
Well the elephant ones are on the wrong side, so there is that...and a thermostat (that must cost a lot).
I need2 sets. What is the price for metal and rubber lines?
I'll keep everyone posted as we get more lines produced.
The Elephant kit is a complete system and that factory thermostat is quite pricey. I think he's inline with his pricing.
Our kit is different as it is an exact duplicate of the factory 914-6/GT that that runs along the drivers side. If you're building a GT replica and want to be exact, this is the only way to go. If all that doesn't matter to you, the folks at Elephant have always made "excellent" turn key products.
Mzalmanek - I'll be in touch. I pulled your number from your post but have it on file here. Safer that way.
I am ready for a set as well Eric!
Eric, please put me down for a set thanks, mike
I know your production on these has been frustrating but put me down for a set...
Hi Eric
So I given up on Jeff its been 2 years since he contacted me about the lines so is there any chance you can get a small batch made.
Bruce
PS: I see that roadglue has final gone, up until yesterday I could still log on from my work computer and see all the pictures.
I hear that a batch is being made right now. By Jeff...
Eric, sent you a pm about a set of these, any update
This thread seem a very cold topic so hoping that it's not totally dead as I would love to purchase a set (with or without metric fittings)
I'm slowly collecting parts for as near as Werks GT as possible & was considering the complexities of even making some / started research into mandrel benders etc. Then stumbled across this
At some point in the future I will start a build thread and hope I can achieve 50% of what socalandy has done as the bar is extremely high now / I'm starting from a low base when it comes to 914-6 originality
I know I'm a newbie but Mark Epstein can vouch for me as I purchased a set of Eric's GT converted calipers off him last year
Thanks
Jon
Here are some more photos of the factory GT lines. I know Mark (the restorer) made the lines for his car a bunch of others. I don't know if he has anymore though.
http://www.raredrive.com/Restorations/Pages/Porche_914-6_GT.html#39
Mark doesn't have any of those Lines anymore - I had a Set of his - Nice!
Ok, thanks everyone for the info. I'll PM Eric to try find out what the status is
Apart from Eric & Raredrive (I've tried Armano already) does anyone have any other leads in the US who might have the chassis oil lines?
Failing that does anyone have any templates, specifications, measurements so I can continue to investigate manufacturing a set (or sets)
Finally have a great Labor Day
Fingers crossed
Jon
PM'd Eric, I'm now on the wait-list for a set
Just need to find the rest of the factory lines and a filler neck and all of the other -6 stuff the PO sold off the car.....
As Eric said in his PM I have some time and lots to do before I really need them
I have a set of these lines on order for my Six- I am hoping (and praying) that the manufacturer is making them. I love the look and the quality of these lines. My last Six had the braided SS lines running up the driver side long and it worked good enough. But for this Six I want to have the best and these lines on Eric's car are the bomb! (oh, can I say "bomb" on the inter web? )
I'm still waiting for mine and have all fingers and toes patiently crossed. i did have a PM from Eric a while back on the status but not sure where he would have got to by now, hopefully move on. Give him a
I think Scotty him.
I am the slacker .. I sent some to some peeps. trying to appease the demand ..butt ..didn't realize the real demand....have some ready ...have no idea on the list...I will accommodate a few I know of ..PMB has a new vendor ..and will be available in quantity soon..
I am a tool and die guy and more than 6 makes me shake...I thought I could but cannot...PMB will have em soon for all...Doubt this helps ..just how it is..JKH
It helps!
I have sent Jeff a PM re the status of the GT lines I ordered. I am hoping to hear from him soon. My car is kind of stuck now as we need the lines before we can move along to the next phase.
Of course. I would love to see these readily available to our crowd. This should be an excellent product that will serve us all well. Michael
I'd like a set of they ever become available again.
Thank you Jeff for a beautiful set of GT hard lines.
It is my hope that Scotty, upon returning from Hershey, will be posting some update photos. Eric just stopped off at Scotty's earlier this week and took the measurements for the soft lines to connect the GT hardline to the thermostat and cooler. That should actually wrap up the entire GT cooling system.
That's good news for people going GT style
I am starting to salivate....
Could it be that I can get this project done....!!!!
Waiting paitently in line
I know Eric has had a lot on his plate recently but has anyone heard anything about the hardlines?
Looks like the Elephant Racing kit went from $1600 to $2188 in the time this thread has been open....yikes!
I do like the idea of their routing (no driver's foot-space taken up), but damn that's $$
Agree with Mark here. A kit is a nice thing on something this involved tooling wise. Also, from what my research says, the factory lines did not go up and over the wheel as Mark correctly questioned / Thru the cabin and on to the front cooler in the front trunk area. http://www.pbase.com/9146gt/image/22239495
They probably made their version go on the passenger side and up the wheel well because that's how the 911 is (their area of primary expertise).
I do like that idea, but for that price they would have to include the cooler and ALL of the oil lines (from tank to engine cooler, breather, etc).
BTW - Looks like my 2.7 build will have more parts involved (not as good a core as I'd hoped) so maybe I'll have to do the front cooler route for the hotter engine.
Does anyone produce these hard brass lines besides Elephant Racing? Is Eric still at it? If anyone has a set or knows of a new set please PM me.
Don't think so, you, me and a couple of others bump the thread but I can't even figure out who has a set to make patterns from
I was hoping they may find their way to McMark, MB911 etc. Maybe Merick in EMEA
I'm definitely in for a set
Just a Bump to keep this going in the case someone might produces them, I'd sure like to go this route!
Here's a set for sale on German eBay:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/PORSCHE-914-6-GT-Ol-Oelrohre-Oil-tubes-Schweller-Leitungen-Oelkuhler-Motor-/172861438152?hash=item283f5838c8:g:xJsAAOSwR0xZttqY
And what is 101,00 euros stand for?
I still think these would be very easy for me to make if I had samples.
I have found someone state side willing to make these.. I need a sample to send but I have worked with this company for 12 years. Good people and top notch work..

Been super busy lately and have been meaning to add to the thread, but time has got away from me. It was me that snagged the lines off eBay, for on the face of it a decent price (sorry folks if I nabbed them off you) but you may have dodged a bullet and only time will tell
Ben PMd me at the weekend along with I'm guessing a bunch of other members, to gauge interest, the bottom line is that I'm still 99 percent sure I'd be a buyer
Was super stoked initially about the eBay purchase and seller went out of his way crating them up so cannot really complain......but not quite the real thing and will need work before they would even begin to fit I fear as the shape is not right. They have been clearly fashioned off the real thing but, I think due to the issues of working with the material and / skill of fabricator they are not a perfect facsimile & in particular the top line where it goes over the jack point is not right
Lines are not brass but plated CDS and would, at a minimum need more shaping / good clean before I would hook them up in an oil system. I was figuring on a strip back to clean steel, then re-plate, possibly with brass etc . Cost of mod, would I am guessing go a long way towards proper brass lines
Check out Andy's lines in his thread against the eBay ones and you will see what I mean
http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=101062&st=400
Ben, I would happily ship them but I honestly think we could end up with a poor Xerox copy of a copy of a copy (plus it's going to be expensive....to ship / customs and whatnot). We would also need a car with the holes cut in the longs / jack point mod to figure out how far off these lines really are
Ultimately not sure if shipping these to you would actually help verses making from scratch / off known good photos if that makes sense?
Ben really needs to borrow a brass set stateside to get this off the ground on a firm footing and there in lies the issue. No one has a set, or would appear not willing to lend
Two steps forward and one back I fear
I am picking up Glenns original set this weekend so hopefully a great sample to start with.. Also all the other GT lines.. Yeah..
Way cool...waiting anxiously to see what you come up with!
, not that I'm superstitious but that has to be yin and yang in action
When you say the other lines, T line and the short stubby L?
I should have 1st sets of hardlines in about 3 weeks. Let me know who wants a set.. Gonna be steel and zinc plated.
So a couple of updates. Was able to get the brass lines off to the manufacturer. Looks like steel or Brass is the same price.. Will probably go brass. The major hold up is the fire's in California are not allowing the employees to get to the manufacturer so things slowed.. Still making progress.
Oh wow, how did I miss the updates
Will send you a PM, I'm in for brass with metric fittings
I’m very interested and waiting, to be used on my 2.4 won’t stay cool 4!
I need a set
PMs sent
thx
here was the Kit for sale.. July 2017

Planning on 50 sets for 1st week in January..
So going back and forth on materials.. I am being told Brass as not an ideal material as the quality is sketchy .. Stainless is the next option and could get that plated in yellow zinc..
Gonna start a group buy next week for 10 sets.. Regardless of material they will look original.
I’d like to get in on one of the 10 if possible thanks.
Stainless and metric fittings are now for sure.. Brass was too much of a liability as the quality of raw materials was to low.. The other pipes and fittings will happen.. Trying to think through a 911 t stat as an option as a retro fit to the system.
Here you go next to Glenn's factory set. Will be shipping finished products next week..
Group buy people have been contacted if you want a set let me know
Group buy ends this Friday. If you are still interested please let me know..
Now they look fabulous! Will reply to your PM
All group buy orders have shipped.. Retail is now 690 plus shipping. Oil lines are ready and in stock..
***Highest Recommendation***
The fit on these lines is "P-E-R-F-E-C-T". Rarely do we see an aftermarket product that simply works this well right out of the box.
Special thanks to Glenn for loaning out his set of OEM lines and Ben for all of the fancy leg work getting this to a final product.
That is all...
Thank you.. We ended up selling 30 sets and counting so still have about 20 sets left.
Save me one
good on you decent cost............one and all
Stay tuned we are going to run a big sale on these for 9/14 day..
