I thought the postage paid return envelope idea sounded fun. I was going to add the stipulation that you needed to also include two box tops from breakfast cereal but figured that would lose the younger audience entirely!

Hi Oscar,

Yes, I remember because I bought some of your coasters awhile back. For sure they were an inspiration as well as the "Forty Fast Years" design that Porsche did to celebrate the 911 - and both were inspired by the '60s - '70s rally plates. I hope I'm not stepping on your toes by making these. If you feel that I am please let me know and we can work something out.

As to a larger size, I will do some checking to see what options there are. The way this scales is that the height is half the width. So if it were 30" wide it would be ~15" tall. Is that a good size to start with?

That probably is more technically correct. 1970-2020 allows for an extra year to celebrate though...

Thanks john got mine today. Going to try something with this decal. Mounted it on a sheet of magnet sticky on one side then I gave it a couple of coats of clear. I know it not vinyl but let's see how long it holds up. Clear has been added Magnet added to back On the car

Cool idea! Actually they are vinyl and rated for outdoor use so you should be good to go. I had them matte coated for a bit of a vintage look so maybe that's why you thought that they aren't vinyl.

I had a member request a larger size that he could place on a license plate blank. He wanted two and I had six made which leaves me with four. (and they say our public education system is a failure ) They are about 9.5" wide by 4.75" tall. These are $12 each including postage.

Plenty of the smaller size still available @ $5 for one, $10 for three and a free one with your self-addressed, stamped envelope!
