Have I mentioned that the lines now have a proper hose bead at the ends?

I can take delivery at my office, which makes things nice. I am getting them one way or the other, but being cheap(or I would be in a different model Porsche, probably), am always interested in saving a buck.

Yeah Chris, I think you did say something about the hose bead thing

may I see pictures of the 4pcs (includes 2pc engine comp lines) - $115?

My late style set is perfect for conversion to front pump. You have a choice of going with just the tunnel lines (both 5/16") or the 4 pc set that includes two 5/16" engine comp. lines. Prices including shipping are $79 (2pc) or $115 (4 pc).
I don't make fuel rails. IIRC many stock rails have provisions for a pressure gauge with a tee between the injector take-offs facing up and out.

would the earlier lines (3/8 & 5/16) work the same? is there some advantage to smaller feed line?

The output fitting on the pump is closer to 5/16". If you go with a 3/8" line the connecting hose won't fit well at one end. The factory changed the tunnel lines to both 5/16" (8mm) when they moved the pump.

Chris,

I dropped the ball on this so I'd understand if it is full price. I need a quote to 95125 for:

A '74 with a engine transplant but I want to run a return line. The fuel pump is currently in the front susp area under the tank.

My "buddy" has a '74 914 2.0 with the fuel pump in the stock location.

Posted by: Racer Chris Feb 17 2007, 02:19 PM

Felix,
I'll hold the sale price for you. What's your transplanted engine (ie. do you need a 3/8" line for a six)?
Do you want just the 2 pc tunnel lines for both cars? or 4pc for your buddy.

2) no other mods, tee - yes.

3) That batch sold out. I'm holding the list price for now but may be raising it soon due to increased stainless prices.

Hi Chris,
I installed the tunnel fuel lines and it would seem that they are too long;-)
You think maybe the jackstands made my car shrink?? alfred.gif
What dp you suppose is the best/easiest way to trim off about an inch without removing them from the car???

If the forward bend was tightened just a little they would have more clearance. I thinkyou have to pull them out to make a change.
