914World.com _ Originality and History _ 914-6 Accelerator/Cluch Cable

Posted by: 1845 May 26 2014, 08:15 PM

Can someone send me some pictures of what the clutch and accelerator cables look like as they run from the fire wall back. Looking for correct attachment points and how they were held in place.

Thanks

Thanks, I have the cables in the same basic route but the passengers heat exchanger is melting the outer casing of the clutch cable so I assumed it was in the wrong location.

There should be straps to hold the cables back and they go into the tabs welded on to the control arm. I just looked in the PET but I did not see them. They were used on the early 911's too.
