914World.com _ Originality and History _ a little obscure 914 promo..

Note what appear to be amber fog lights and the extra lights on car #4. Also noteworthy, the 914s are /4s clap56.gif

The "wee Scot" is in the foreground, can anyone determine the GP drivers in the other two 914s?

Are you sure of the year and race/track?

I can find out who the other drivers are but I need more to go on.

After enlarging the original pic, I see that the sign on the door of Jackie Stewart's 914 reads "Circuit Paul Richard".

I've checked a few site that I know of and I posted it on another forum. I'll have an answer soon.

I'm thinking the color of the cars represent the country of the drivers. BRG for Stawart, white is Japan (can't be right) and red, Italy.

It is the 1971 French GP at Paul Ricard.

JS was on pole
Clay Regazzoni Ferrari started 2nd
Jacky Ickx Ferrari started 3rd

JS won in a Tyrrell-Ford

Regazzoni was Swiss (white car)

Definitely Regazzoni in the white car. Looks like it could by Ickx in the red car - but why does IT have hubcaps on it?
