So when the professional tire guys put RF or LF on a tire is that from the viewpoint of a driver seating looking foward or ?

I know, dumb question.

F = front of car and your left turn signal flashes on the L side, no matter where you sit. Just don't let those canucks read this, their water swirls the wrong way. Of course they say that about the guys who eat vegemite sandwiches. Who you gonna believe?
