I've only driven 2 races in conditions like this...
this guy is amazing
I was much slower and wishing for wipers and side windows....

great car control
I'm betting a TB LSD... you can see it save his butt repeatedly

Wow that is scary and impressive, fun to watch in particular the wild steering inputs needed to compensate.

I have nearly zero experience on rainy tracks but the aspect that got me most was the almost total lack of visibility, more than the obvious traction challenges. My car has no side windows or weather seals either so I really have no desire to run in conditions like this -- except maybe in a rally car or trophy truck. Now that could be fun.

Nice driving.

Personally I think TB diff's just work. Putting a Quaife in the DSR which will be here next week.

That's year at the Mitty I heard there was some ballsy driving going on during the rain on turn 12....no thanks!

I'd have to agree Brant - gotta be a TB LSD. Look at how out of shape, completely out of the gas AND on the rumble strips he was at 5:02-5:10.

That being said, it was some really good driving. I don't have near the experience you guys do, but the 3 times I've driven in the rain (all three at night as well) I absolutely loved it. It teaches you a totally new level of car control and commitment, especially at night at Sebring where it's hard enough seeing where you're going.

Here is my favorite rain video of Leh Keen at the N24 last year:

What's even better is the helmet view. Gives you a great perspective. Check out 7:35-7:50 for possibly the most wicked counter steer I've ever seen.

I think the best way to learn is in the wet.
He expereienced more recovery from "loss of grip" events than I had in an entire weekend in that video.

I would definitely be having some words for #37 for the piss poor blocking maneuvers he pulled like at ~5:20.
He wasnt defending his line, he was flat out being aggressive (these cars arent smash Miatas!)
That was the second time he had contact with that car (first was right at the start)
I am confident that if that happened in our club (even once) we would get black flagged and get a personal vist from the steward.
