That’s my plan. Ordered a fresh set.
I actually got lucky.
I had a couple of broken valve springs, then missed a shift and over revved. I’m lucky I don’t didn’t lunch the whole engine.

You probably thought of this already, but if a piston contacted a valve, you might want to replace rods bearings to be safe.

Good advice, but fortunately not the case. Pulled all pistons, cyls to inspect and re-ring. Heads all the way apart, 5 angle grind - all straight and fine.
Not really sure exactly why the p rod bent, but there was no other damage.
Mysteries abound..
