Karen Lee's Fall Foliage Chili

Ingredients
1 1/2 - 2 pounds Lean Ground Beef
1 Large Onion - Chopped
1 6oz can of Tomato Paste
1 16oz can Diced Tomatoes
1 16oz can Tomato Sauce
1 16oz can Dark Red Kidney Beans - Drained
1 16oz can Chili Beans in Gravy
2 cups Water
2T Chili Powder
Salt to Taste
Hot Sauce Optional

Directions
Brown Ground Beef with Onions - Drain
Add all other ingredients and let Simmer for 1 - 2 hours
or, Cook in Crock Pot on low for 2 - 3 hours

Serve with Sour Cream, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, and Crackers burger.gif

Making the chili tonight for dinner. Is that two Tablespoons of Chili Powder or teaspoons? Just want to make sure.

basicly the same as mine, just 2 differences

minor one : use 2 cans of chile beans not one and one
other difference : dump a bottle of hienz chile sauce in, it sweetens it up a little

I am making this right now (yes I have tweaker hours) and I decided to add a little Hefeweizen beer, cumin, and garlic. What a midnight snack. IPB Image
