John,
I like the logo! How about in Orange and white and all the text in the same font? Would probably use that for the back of the cd case.
Jeroen,
I just wanted to use the sticky logos that you put directly onto the cd. Do they come in different sizes?
I was thinking something to the effect of an Orange 914 driving .....possibly with wheels peeling out...... maybe on a track, or in a desert background.
Maybe I could use the 914 car group photo taken last year at Laguna Seca??
I should be able to do that .
I gotta go to work now.
Give me 24 hours and I'll post it here.

I like!
I did like the font text of the CLASSIC on the black and white one on the main forum. Can you copy it?
I like how you threw in the 914 logo and 2005! I'm not sure about the placement though. Seems like the best place to put them.
But,,,, do you (or anyone else) have any other Ideas?
Thanks John for all of your help on this!
Help!!!
I need help with the song selection!
Here is the song list that I have come up with. But, IT IS WAAAAAYYYYY TO LONG FOR ONE CD.

I want to get this thing finished up..........
So, thanks for your help!
Sorry but I don't have Old English or any other Gothic style fonts in any of my software. The B & W original was on the image I found on the internet. Maybe someone with a better paint program can do it, but I can't.
In addition to the * selections, my top picks are:
Bruce Springsteen: Born to run
Aerosmith: Train kept a rollin
Steppenwolf: Magic Carpet Ride
Beatles: Drive my car
If you want a Gary Newman song what about: I love LA ?
How about: David Bowie: Suffragette City
Have you checked http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?act=ST&f=2&t=1582&hl=radar+love for ideas?
As far as I am concermed - the more the better.
If you can find it, Spyder Murphy has some really good German Rock & Roll.

Umm, just to clarify:
Gary Newman - Cars (or whatever its called)
Randy Newman- I Love LA
Aren't they brothers or something?
Randy Newman also did 'Short People', but I guess you're a little sensitive to that one, huh Toast? Actually, you didn't strike me as being particularly short so I don't know who teases you about that.
Hope you guys have a great time at the WCC. Wish I could have made it.
Andrew
Born to be Wild....
Just to piss people off...sumthin from Emenem....
Here are a couple of my choices including ones from your list.
Rush: Tom Sawyer
Eagles, Hotel California, long in concert version
*Edgar Winter Group: Free Ride
Stepphen Wolf : Magic Carpet ride
*Deep Purple: Highway Star
*Sammy Hagar: I cant drive 55 This is a must have!
Gary Newman: I love LA This is a must have also!
*Golden Earing* Radar Love
In fact,
ftp://www.creativeitsolution.com/MP3/ are some songs you may want to consider. The Eagles song is there too. Downlaod them to your computer and listen to them. These would be some of my choices.
I have all of the songs you have listed above and the ones I have posted in the link. If you are looking for anything in particular, let me know and I will check and see if I have it. I have about 70 gigs of music in MP3 format.
Since the 2005 WCC is in the LA area, how about some LA bands.
The first ones that come to mind are The Doors, The Beach Boys and No Doubt.
How about "Pavrotti covers the best of Zappa!"?
Or, surprise us.

AAAAAAHHHHHHHWWWW!!!! (screaming with excitement!)
That is perfect!
Thank you John!
I noticed you changed the color of orange too. I like it better!
Did you ever try putting the 914 logo on the opposite side of where the 2005 is? Is it possible to change the 914 numbers font to the same one as the rest of the lettering?
(or is this copyrited by the club? )
I owe ya a few drinks..... we on for Friday or Saturday night?

You didn't like my song?
I did Howard, I heard that a long time ago. Now if I can just figure out how to convert it to an MP3 file without the video, I can put it on a CD.
Now that I am home, I finally had a chance to listen to the CD.
Excellent Great tunes Toast The CD rocks - and so do you
It should come with the following warning:
"We are not responsible for speeding inspired by the music on this CD.
Extreme frustration may be caused if you listen to this CD at high volume when stuck in traffic, with no room to pass (not even on the sidewalk), behind a and his maximum speed is closer to his shoe size (and IQ) than the posted limit."
