Like it says! I got a side shift trans with the tail shift mounts with one of my purchases. I can trade or purchase depending on how much! So I need the Side Shift piece.

You can use the tail shift rear cover with a side shift trans if you have an aluminum plug welded in the hole where the old shift stuff linkage protruded. Or was that done already and too ugaly for ya?

QUOTE Or was that done already and too ugaly for ya? Yep, it looks like the previous owner broke an ear and put on a tail cone! |

You can use the tail shift rear cover with a side shift trans if you have an aluminum plug welded in the hole where the old shift stuff linkage protruded. Or was that done already and too ugaly for ya? Takes a mighty good welder to weld aluminum to magnesium. In fact, it's probably not feasible. The Cap'n |

I have one that Lennie is picking up with some of his parts but he has not been able to connect with the seller yet! I am not in a hurry so at this point, unless I get a good deal, I will wait!
Thanks |
