I want to do a bumper backdate on my '75.
Ideally, I'd prefer '73 or earlier, they'd be in great shape, and they'd include the mounting hardware. I know, I know... but as long as I'm looking for a unicorn, I might as well dream big. PM me, please. |

This is not perfect, but a good deal especially if the bumper top is included. Dog bones for mounting are pretty easy to get.

I too am looking for front and rear bumpers and the bumper tops, my issue is that I am in Australia with few 914s let alone spare parts! I am looking to backdate my '75 also, though will probably paint mine black for the GT clone I am building so the surface condition does not have to be excellent
Suggestions anyone?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |

Thanks, Chris. I'd like to find something in closer to useable condition, if possible. Shipping from the west coast to the east coast would be fine, but it's going to have to be perfect for that. I really appreciate the lead, though. |

I have to take back my comment about useable... I looked at my bumpers last night and most of the chrome numbers have mount bolts sheared off flush to the mounts. Probably take a lot of work to get them "useable."
