I have several pairs of early and late targa latches. The difference is the height and distance between the humps on the top. Early latches had lower height bumps that were farther apart. Late have taller bumps closer together. The change was somewhere around 72-73. My 73 has late latches. The bumps match the rubber block that locates on them. Look at the pictures for the detail and check your latches. The ones with the gold springs are late.
They have new laser cut hooks, replated or new springs, all powder coated satin black.
$85 a pair shipped.

Would you sell the hooks separately? I thought saw a thread about that.. but could be wrong or otherwise confused.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I just finished mine about 3 weeks ago. At this price, I would have jumped on it.

Hello - Do you still have a set of early latches (1970) and if so do you require core?
Thanks, Greg.

@gbozzani

I am currently out of early finished latches. I can get more done in about a week.
I do not require cores but if you return yours I refund $20.
