Edit.
Another way to check for early vs late is using a quarter or nickle. Early latches allow a quarter to lay between the bumps. A nickle fits between the bumps of the ate latches. I have three pairs of restored rear targa latches. One pair of early (70-72) and two pair of late (73-76). They have been stripped and powder coated. New springs and clips are used. The difference between the early and late is the size and distance between the bumps on the top of the latches. The rubber blocks that fit into the humps are alst different widths. Compare these to what is on your car. $100 per pair shipped. Attached thumbnail(s) |
