Send them out to the guys who will wear them in the garage while they are working on thier cars, like me! I always wear a hat when I work on my car and they are all looking pretty nasty. Thats my vote. I could use one.

i could use a garage/work hat as well. would these be sent as a 'bonus' to those who already paid then? creating a veritable hat bonanza when the correct and defective hats arrive! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mueba.gif)
i'm always in for a buy one get one free arrangement! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif) |

My suggestion. There are three things that you can do with the hats. You can sell them, or you can sell them, or you can do both. The end result is that I would like to see you keep the proceeds for all your efforts.
Scenario One: Sell the slightly-imperfect hats to club members for a total price of $8.39 (priority mail shipping included). After the costs of $3.85 for priority mail and $0.54 for PayPal, you net $4.00 per hat. Scenario Two: Sell them on ebay for $4.99 a hat plus $4.99 shipping and handling for a total of $9.98. Use fixed-price buy-it-now, immediate payment to avoid unnecessary communication and haggling with buyers. After costs of $3.85 for priority mail, $0.59 for PayPal and $0.66 for ebay, you net $4.88 per hat. Scenario Three: Do both. Then, use the money and buy yourself some beer. You deserve it. Paul's the closest to what I was thinking except that the proceeds would go to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation...our FFC charity.
