I spent the last 2 weeks on vacation in Kauai. I doubed that there were any 914's on Kauai, and even if there was one, I figured it would probably be rotting away in a red dirt field somewhere. So I was very surprised to see this 914 parked at the Poipu shopping center.

I saw a nicer one on Kuai in January. Passed me going the other way so I couldn't get a picture but I seem to remember it had a nice purple paint job with flares. Really surprised me.

How's this for a Hawaiian model (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
Actually we were playin tourist one day and I saw her way off in the distance. Got out the super zoom & ..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)
then went into Photoshop & combined her with the lagoon in front of our place in Poi'Pu. Made my Dad a Birthday card with it.

Hmmmmm, that looks like (either) the area around the bend from Ke'e beach or the walking path to Queens bath.
I've been going there for the last 4 years. My wife has been going for the last 35. She saw it before the first traffic light and before the first McDonalds (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Na Pali's right. It was taken from the very end at the top of the Waimea canyon looking down the coast. When you going again?

Not soon enough! No current plans. Putting my daughter through college right now which eats up all funds. Here's another pic for you, Bruce. Did you ever make it to "Sushi and Blues" in Hanalei?

Went to Kauai last year! Can't wait to go back. This one is on the trail to the falls when you kayak up the Waimea River. I saw a blue 914 while I was there.

Mike, did'ja go TUBE-IN? It's a kick in da butt. 1 1/2 hr. floating down an irrigation ditch. It's as big as a large stream & you go thru 3 tunnels, one of which is a little over a 1/4 mile long. Darker'n shit too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) As soon as I git home I'll post a pic.
