Postponed to Saturday Sept 24 let's combine with a 914club lunch...

It's been over a year since our last big meet at the Great Mall. Let me know if you can attend and if you are (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif) your "rod" (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/burnout.gif)

Believe it or not, many of the V8 914's are on jack stands. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) Congrats to Andyrew for not being in this situation. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) Anyway, alot of us are planning to be running by the 24th.

Need V6 American Iron powered 914's apply? I seem to be low by two pistons, else I'd have a 350. It's only a 231 Buick, does that count? It' would be interesting to join in the fun, even with a Vee-six.

Absolutely Dave! I should label it "Bay Area Conversions" to include the British V6/V8 guys, Datsun Z's, Miata's, etc...

If my "2 month project", which has turned into a 4 month project, is finished in three weeks, then I'll be there. =-)))

Thanks for organizing it Felix.

I can use this as a motivational tool. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

Bebe might not be the prettiest thing there but she'll be runnin'. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/aktion035.gif)

HI Felix,

If Doris and I are in town, we'll be there. JLO will not be finished, but she'll be close. I plan on doing a little detailing that will take a little while longer.

Thanks,

Bill P.

Felix,

I won't make it to your event, being a SoCal member and my summers pretty booked already. Hey, I like the magazine cover, I've got a copy of that issue somewhere around my house, saw it a couple of months ago...

I have about a dozen separate articles. Send me your list, I'd like to know if I'm missing any...

For all subscribed to this thread or have planned on attending, I am postponing the meet to August 28th. There are alot of people a month away from running and I haven't had time to contact everyone personally. Let me know if this date is a problem, I will post a new thread as well...

Plus there is the SJ Grand Prix at the end of this month and the Monterey Historics next month...

and if such a case. Dad will go.

I'll get some stuff done to the car by then.
