I said I'd wait for the East Coast BBQ  to happen before finalizing things...

the ECR is that same weekend in VT and i'll be on the lookout for artsy settings. donno if anyone onsite will have online access to send pix from there, but i'll get you anything promising by that Monday.

OK. I'll try to be patient (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

I'm leaving town for 2 weeks at the end of October.

Lisa  :trophy:

I suppose it depends on when people want to buy calendars... I presume for Xmas...

CafePress is very quick on production time. The rest is up to me to post the artwork.

I will be out of town the last 2 weeks of October. And then the winter holidays come rushing upon us.

So let's say October 7th is the photo submission deadline.

All orders will take 1-3 weeks to be produced and shipped.

* Click on the Buy link next to the shop(s) you wish to purchase from.
* Place your order for 15+ pieces of the same item. The discount will automatically be shown in your shopping cart.
* Checkout as normal.

Hey Guys & Gals,

I am over here in Santa Cruz for my sisters wedding tomorrow, 9\15.
However,
I did stop at Laguna Seca this morning and
FINALLY
took some pictures (39) of our 914world.com BRICKS.

I'll be back home on Friday and will submit some then, maybe our Bricks could make the calendar, huh?

a LINK to the other pictures that I took.

Where they're at:
once you get to the Corkscrew, and you were looking at
the track, turn around, the Bricks are in front of the
little Vending station that sells cold beverages.

Here's a funny story......
my dad and I drove into the track on Wed, the roads
that go ALL the way up to the top were locked up,
so we drove up as high as we could,
then, for some DAMN reason, I decided that I would
try
to RUN all the way UP the hill!!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)

My dad was quite surprised that I made it as far as
I did, 'bout 3\4 the way up,
but then I ran out of Oxygen! lol

I actually felt light-headed, and walked/stumbled twice,
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)
I had to Bend over a grab my shorts numerous times,
desperately trying to catch my breath! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/screwy.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/lol2.gif)

It took me about 35 minutes to STOP breathing REALLY,
REALLY hard!

So I'm thinking that someone from the SF bay area can order 15+ calenders and distribute them to others (like college students) to save money. Now I know your thinking why don't I do this myself but I have to pay for school so I'm on a budget. So if somone is willing to order a bunch, I'll send a check to you for $10. Let me know. I'll definitly be able to pick it up by mid december after finals, or some weekend when I go home.

So... do we get to see a web page hosting thumbs of the chosen photos?

Oh, and if you do decide to use the picture of the Winter Wonderland Bumblebee, and want to photoshop my dumb ass out of it... I won't be offended at all. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

No final choices have been made yet. I said I'd wait for an East Coast BBQ.

But, rest assured the Winter Wonderland Bumblebee will be reserved for December because it is the only 'snow' picture I have (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

If you have enough good quality shots now, I say go with what you've got. If you need more pictures I have some from the Red Rocks Classic I could send you.

OK Ya'll....

Lots of good pictures.

Amazingly many solo black car photos submitted, but I decided to use only one, no offense to those other gorgeous black teener folks.

I tried to best represent our beloved 914 and club personality.

Hope you like this 1st edition.
