Ed Ducey and Lawrence Farmer were kind enough to host this GTG at their remote facility. V8 cars in attendance: John R., Paul S., Ed D., Taka S., and mine. Other 914 conversion builders (Chris, Remil, Dan and Andrew) attended to take notes...

These guys are building fine Porsche Powered Ultimas (most are GM V8's) for the deep wallet customers. $75k chassis + drivetrain and sorting out... Their race car approached $200k

Looks like great fun. Cool Ultima. You guy's should plan an organized mass gathering as part of the WCC 05. And bring that Ultima with! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

oh man, I missed it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I totally forgot that was yesterday....I just stayed at home being bored in the garage (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

glad you had fun, those are some really neat cars and the work looked 1st class when I took a peek at them a few years ago down at the shop.
