All they need is an engine and an anchor.

edit: Scott beat me to it.... Reactor stuff huh!!!... sell it to the Iranians for their nuclear program... lets see that should set them back... 50 years! (Was that political?)

Its for operating a thing called a "ON LINE GAME" which is to be played on the "INTERNET" which has yet to be invented by the young Mr. Al Gore. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I guess the steering wheels are for cruising the net. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I started with Fortan in the early seventies, punch cards were a big pain in the ass. So were the paper tapes when everyone went to Basic. They made great confetti, throw a bag on someones lawn and they'd never get it out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Teethed on Fortran. Was a punchcard and reel to reel bunny for years before they would let me touch the keyboard. After that I was hooked.

This top secret image was recently released to the public. It gives some insight as to what the scientists envisioned we might use this 'home computer' for. The yet-to-be-invented technology they are referring to is now known as the 'joystick'.

Sadly, you're absolutely right - it's a photochop - that is a set of cold-war era reactor controls (almost certainly from a photo taken of the same set in the smithsonian), and a teletype, and a console TV...

Still funny though!
