Registration is now open for WCR 2014, Schedule of events and hotel information below.
Location will be So. Lake Tahoe Hotel will be the MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa 55 Hwy 50 Lake Tahoe NV 89449 We couldn't get a hotel to offer a group rate without a deposit...we don't do that. If you go on Expedia they are offering a deal on the MontBleu right now, so book soon...the sooner the better. You can stay at any Hotel in the area if you can find a better deal, but the MontBleu will be the "host" hotel where we will hang out, they have offered us a section of parking lot to use.(Thanks Rob) You have to book thurs.- sunday to get the deal, it gives you friday free!! Friday - sunday is more. But is is a limited time offer soooo Hurry. The dates : Thursday May 15, 2014 till Sunday May 18, 2014 Schedule of Events Thursday: Meet N Greet in the Hotel parking lot, BBQ provided Friday: Drive to Reno to Need 2 Speed 914World Go-Kart Challenge Race Group Photo in Need 2 Speed parking lot Lunch at Joe's Diner(not provided) Return drive to South Lake Tahoe Parking lot Tech Session with McMark, Subject-Adjusting valves Mexican dinner in the parking lot, from The Cantina Bar & Grill Saturday: Meet at group photo location Group photo/ Spit n Shine car show Drive around the Lake, with stops for photos, and lunch(not provided) Dinner/Awards, Lake Tahoe Pizza Co Sunday: Sleep in, hang out, drive home.... Registration Information Full registration is $60 per person. This includes a T shirt and goodies, BBQ/beer thursday, Mexican Dinner friday, and Pizza dinner on Saturday. Extra registration is $40 per person, no T shirt and goodies...just food. Usually for spouses. Ahh... man I'm probably going to miss this one, bummer. Have a baby due May 28th. Maybe I can jam up there for a day...
It was a great time the last time it was in Lake Tahoe. I would recommend going for sure. |

Hey, I told you what to do about it, you did it, it worked, you sold it. Now you have one of the nicest 914's around both running and looking! So, we expect you'll drive down this time right? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Yes I plan to drive it down. Assuming I can afford the trip after the Porsche Parade that is. Not to mention 2 girls in College (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) . Should be fine though. I'm looking forward to it. |
