It's cold outside, just finished shoveling the driveway. It's warm inside.
We're free, we have no major health problems, we live in a peaceful place. I've got a teener in the garage patiently waiting for spring. As I said, life is beautiful. Michel Richard in Montreal with a 914 2.2 E MFI |

What a great outlook and a great attitude. Life is good for you. Its not bad here either. I got 70 degrees in the garage with the door wide open, listening to music with a back that hurts like hell. Other than that, I got my health, a 914 in the garage waiting for my back to heal so I can finish it and the bills all just got paid. So I think its not bad here. Lets share moment of peace and have a drink.

Life is great!
I have a beautiful wife, two great little kids, and the teener should be done in less than a month. Cheers (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif) Sean |

That did'nt come our right.
I meant to indicate that one of the reasons I feel so good today is that beer exists . . . and that it might even be a little better if we got 70 degrees in the garage with the door wide open, say . . . one day a week. Still, it's not bad. Michel |

Can I go? Can I Can I Can I??? I have never been to Aruba, you better take lots of pictures of the scenery there. That includes the babes on the beach too. Not just trees and hills and beaches. Think of us here, your fellow teener home in the cold all alone. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) |

No hills in Aruba!! its 20 miles long by 5 miles wide. Just great beaches, Flat water and wind! And besides I thought you said it was always warm in California!! Also its our 15th anniversary so I wont be alone My wife and I met years ago sailing at the Gorge so it seemed like a great way to celebrate.

Aruba is a very flat version of catalina.
Very little rain there, always windy, great water and beaches but about the only thing green there are the golf courses. Prostitution is acceptable in Aruba. Or so I've heard. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) |

IVGUY,
I am heading for 2 months windsurfing in Baja after the LA sawp meet. As I may have mentioned before, when you return to the Gorge, stop by my shop. Right on Route 30 in Mosier. I came here in 1985 to sail. Where do you usually sail in the Gorge? Route30Classics |

Balthazar here:
Life is good because I just finished doing a side shifter swap and the newly built box shifts 1,2,3,4,5 and R!(this is my first) I didn't even have to mess with the shims! They were all relatively intact! WOOHOO! U S A...U S A! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) Many thanks to Brant and his Pop(BoB) BEERS ALL AROUND!!!!! If your shop is in Mosier I've been there. I was one of those Canucks that made the trip every summer weekend for years. Went thru 2 Chevy vans and then got a motorhome. Had a couple of Old Glass customs made in Mosier ...............Man what was the name of the guy?................ Oh yeah Cascades .......The kids are older now and life changes so I usually only get down for a coupla weeks. Spend 1 week out east and then the rest at the hatchery or wherever its blowing. Used to spend a week or 2 in Los Barrilles every 2nd winter so would probably recognize u. Have not been down for 6 years now. Kids are into hockey and ski racing so the weekends are kinda booked. Add 2 or 3 hundred hours trying to restore a teener and it explains the Bags under my eyes. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif) Funny think about sailing is it was hard to remember all the names of People so u either remember their Sail number or what there van looked like. Man All the money spent on sailing I could own afleet of Porsches but it was a great way to spend 20 years. I dont chase wind any more I still have a trailer full of gear................. in fact if I could get rid of the 10 boards stacked in the garage I would have more room for the car!! Ever notice what 10 year sails and stuff are worth?....................2 years ago I made the decision to buy the 914 instead of getting into kiteing like everbody else is doing ........I know when I finally got to drive it that it was the right move but now I've put on 15 lbs from laying on a creeper instead of sweating in a wetsuit................ I'll look you up this summer when we go down and dont forget if you every wanna find some great twisty mountain roads drive north for 9 hours and I'll introduce you to the Monashee mountains!!! Anyway My cousin and her husband have been in the Baja all season and there saying it's kiteing in the am and 5.0s in theafternoon still. So Baja life goes on. Only now we fish or Mtn bike in the am instead of sleeping off hangovers!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/icon8.gif) All the best |
