Not sure what thickness spacers I need for my front wheels. Tire has worn away the paint. My mechanic suggested 1/4" thick spacers, but I wonder if that's enough. Suggestions?
I have stock 4 lug Mahle wheels with 205/60 R15 size tires. It keeps uploading sideways for some reason. But you can see how much is worn. |

Try 8mm or 1/4 in spacer. Put some paint were it is rubbing and see if it rubs the paint off. If it does, try a wider spacer. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Get a stack of large washers and pile them up until you have clearance, then measure the washers.
