yesterday, getting on the freeway, my 914 took a rock hit, scratch one perfect widshield.
Head up the hill to friends house, as I arrive, my window starts fogging, and I smell antifreeze (it is V6 powered) Hose came apart, we were able to rig it together to get me down the hill. On way down hill, alternator light turns on, signals stop working, gages go wacko. enough is enough. F&^K it!!!!! |

You're right--shot it, and then yourself.

Everything can be fixed, dont give up hope on it now. If I gave up everytime something went wrong, I would never get anything accomplished.

Sound like easy fixes to me:
Windshield, $200 Hose $20? Probably a bad ground somewhere, free to $15 for ground strap? Bad alt, GM $40? It's fixable, just take it one thing at a time. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) |

Well, get it to the next conversion meet so we can help or commiserate. I didn't know your car was running, where's the pics? Is this the one with the BBR body?
