curious - is there a price/sales curve or chart anywhere showing how the 914-6 has appreciated over the last 10 yrs or so (since the great recession) - or simply a percentage one could apply ?

Excellence used to periodically publish 914 market value stories, but the last one i have is 2009 - likely a credible low point from which to begin

OH !! - maybe found my answer:
Hagerty Valuation - chart & details here
https://www.hagerty.com/apps/valuationtools...!6?id=46730

Hagerty shows them "flat" until abt 2012 - then rising about 150% to present

the question of "insurance value" vs "market sales" is a different issue - not clear what Hagerty uses to determine values

does anyone have the sale price of this one? 2016 Bonham's

TIA

only slightly related to this interesting thread on conversion values

Larry -

Flat was considered good in the first few years of the great recession 2008-10 or 12, when many other classic cars went down, some fell off the cliff!

IIRC Hagerty's LTV curve showed the same holding value for the 914/4s during that period, but the 911s SWB/LWB did drop some IIRC.

Westfalia Vanagons also held their own then, & then started u again around 2010-12-ish - but Hagerty wasn't tracking them then.
