Wondering if an earlier bumper will fit the 75 914? My last one was a 73 Porsche 914 and had a nice bumper. Im not to partial to the big blocky looking thing. Looking to eventually repaint the beastie in it original Yellow. Last one was Orange. Love the Orange color.

Thanks

PS. the engine lid needs new locks to hold it down and press to release to open. Right now it's bolted down.

In the index look for the Lapuwali Classic Forum. Then do a search for backdating bumpers. Easy job.

here is one thread from this site to backdate a bumper from 75/76 to chrome or painted bumper.

for the engine lid cover mechanism, go to classified forum on this site and ask members
or maybe message bdstone or chi_town if they have that parts that they can sell you.
