Looks like Discovery Channel will be playing a short run of Top Gear episodes Thursday evening. At first glance these appear to be repeats but you may want to check them out in case you missed any. Who knows, maybe these are the first of the long unawaited "Dumbed Down", er, I mean "Americanized" episodes.

I looked on my tivo and some of the episodes say 2006. Maybe they are reformulated new-old episodes. I can swear I saw the 'Parachute Into a Moving Car' episode.

I -think- they're the real UK version. I saw the info on one of them about the Pagondi Zonda, and I know I've seen that episode...

Here's hoping that the Discovery Channel is keeping the show as-is and not "americanizing" it. There are enough "pimp my ride" type shows out there now...
