"The heads have been fly cut to fit 94mm pistons, competition cam, mild, stainless steel valves. By changing all of this it is clear that the hp will be at least 140 with the single webber set up, if you have the dual webber set up, you would add another 25 hp, so that comes to around 170 hp."

THAT'S the secret! And I was just thinking it was all in the combo... You know, 1.7l, single carb, fly-cut heads, mild stainless valves, and voila! After all, "it is clear" you'll get this kind of power by changing these things.

I wish. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/screwy.gif) With this kind of HP increase I think I'll keep my 1.7. How could you all have wrong all these years? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/lol2.gif)
