just for you jeff. i was wrong on the vinyl on the driver's side. easy insert swap out for someone with a good seat. no rips or tears noticed with a brief glance. pass side seat is in nice shape. i think they would brighten up with a good cleaning. these aren't my seats. bug craig with your "can i buy those seats?" questions guys. has anyone ever seen a tan interior with any kind of plaid seats (in a 914)? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/idea.gif)

I'm really digging them, but can't picture a pattern or color combo that would fly in tan.

it looks like a short(er) person drove this car. I can't see why else there would be so much wear on the top of the side bolster except for the seatbelt rubbing, due to a short(er) body in the seat. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif)

story is, a lady used it as a daily driver. the car is in pretty decent shape over all, no repaint, correct code (L20C).

Thanks Kev! I will add this to my Paint and Fabrics webpage with the other Tartans and Plaids I have photos of. I was hoping the blue car had blue plaid...but I guess it is not to be.

Here is the only non-black trim plaid I have. It is supposedly an original fabric from a very original car:

Kevin, do you think the cloth is original? The vinyl is more worn than the cloth. I think Aaron Gilihan in Vancouver is looking for that plaid.

your guess is as good as mine jim. given the nepal paint and the orange plaid, being original wouldn't surprise one bit. glad it's something new for your collection jeff.
