Is there a thread with commentary about this car?
Prom my perspective, a great candidate to do a full disassembly, rotisserie strip to bare metal, repair any rust (the first 13 years were in Germany), weld in the available structural supports advised when you double the power, quality repaint, and then you put it all back together with a few choice upgrades (like a later side shit tranny conversion and an aftermarket shifter). After that, probably a $60K car. |

I bet the German owner of that car, and the 32-year Dutch owner of my 914-6, knew each other. Modifications done to my car are almost identical, but with no track time. The OEM GT steel flares, front bumper, 2.7 MFI, etc. are the same (but no rust issues here). Even the same 1984 date they were purchased by the long time owners.
I'd like to contact the owner of this car on BAT, and find out its Euro history and ownership. Steve (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/c1.staticflickr.com-20070-1497879768.1.jpg) |

well the car did not sell and the owner has decided to keep the car for his son... I feel this was a better option than selling it...
