I am selling my long term track car project ( was building for the Targa De Newfoundland )...I am old and don't have time to finish.....A 1974 914 that started as a complete finished rotary engined conversion car...It ran and drove fine . here's what the 25000.00 I have spent so far has resulted in : Rust free car....you wont find anything other than surface rust, on some interior spaces , car from New Mexico and Nevada . A complete 220 hp streetport 13b rotary built by Adkins in California..51mm modified weber.in perfect running condition with very low hours , a rebuilt 901 that shifts as it should , engine and box combined weigh less than a stock four...the finished car will be 220 very reliable horsepower and weigh less than 1800 lbs.. what is accomplished so far...rear Tangerine style rear flairs welded on but not yet blended in...top with a fiberglass air scoop bonded on...7000.00 dollars worth of front suspension...elephant racing , monoball rsr , cutom travel struts , tarret bar / aluminum cross piece ,massive front rotors with aluminum hats , rebuilt and new powder coated big red cailpers ( now big neon greens )...the rear trailing arme reinforced with chromemoly tubes , elephant racing bushing....tangerine racing outboard trailing arm mounts , raised strut top mounts , and reinforced inboard trailing arm mount...rear trunk is cut out back to trans mount area, traing arms are mounted with new bearing , new vented rotors and neon green powder coated boxster calipers,,all brake lines are run using pmb stainless steel lines , fuel lines are Tangerine racing stainlees steel ones , return for fuel injection included in install , shifter is rennshift with wevo hollow knob ( 100.00 dollar shift knob ...300.00 dollar accelerator pedal with 27 parts )...what an idictation !..Bruce stone redone pedal cluster...1000.00 dollars worth of revolution gauges cutom made 916 style front an rear bumpers...made to allow more air to radiator, so bigger opening and the rearumper vented at with flatter profile that doesn't stick out as far...car has good wheels and tires 17 inch 911 wheels and good tire it has a 914 rubber flat tow bar , and pullds straight ant great...I am going to sell this whole thing for 10000.00..I know I will have to be patient...I will not part out, many other new or refurbished parts go with it ...two real carbon fiber race seats , 1000.00 dollar fluidyne heat exchanger , mounts ect .....

"I am going to sell this whole thing for 10000.00"
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) It sounds like a lot of nice parts but impossible to tell from the description the current condition of the car. |

A 1974 914 that started as a complete finished rotary engine conversion car...It ran and drove fine . Here's what the $25,000 I have spent so far has resulted in: - Rust free car....you wont find anything other than surface rust, on some interior spaces , car from New Mexico and Nevada . - A complete 220 hp streetport 13b rotary built by Adkins in California - 51mm modified weber in perfect running condition with very low hours - A rebuilt 901 that shifts as it should Engine and box combined weigh less than a stock four...the finished car will be 220 very reliable horsepower and weigh less than 1800 lbs.. - Rear Tangerine style rear flairs welded on but not yet blended in - Top with a fiberglass air scoop bonded on - $7000 dollars worth of front suspension. Elephant racing , monoball rsr , custom travel struts , tarret bar / aluminum cross piece ,massive front rotors with aluminum hats , rebuilt and new powder coated big red (now big neon green) calipers - Rear trailing arms reinforced with chromoly tubes , elephant racing bushing - Tangerine racing outboard trailing arm mounts , raised strut top mounts , and reinforced inboard trailing arm mount. - Rear trunk is cut out back to trans mount area, trailing arms are mounted with new bearing - New vented rotors and neon green powder coated boxster calipers,,all brake lines are run using PMB stainless steel lines - Fuel lines are Tangerine racing stainless steel ones , return for fuel injection included in install - Shifter is rennshift with wevo hollow knob ( $100 shift knob... $300 accelerator pedal with 27 parts ) - Bruce stone redone pedal cluster. - $1000 dollars worth of revolution gauges - Custom made 916 style front an rear bumpers...made to allow more air to radiator, so bigger opening and the rear bumper vented at with flatter profile that doesn't stick out as far. - Car has good wheels and tires 17 inch 911 wheels and good tire - 914 rubber flat tow bar , and pulls straight and great. I am going to sell this whole thing for $10,000. I know I will have to be patient...I will not part out, many other new or refurbished parts go with it ...two real carbon fiber race seats , $1000 dollar fluidyne heat exchanger , mounts ect ..... Heres the OG post, with a little less neanderthal script. Much easier to read and you can now see the value of the car. Any pics yet? |
