I have a 1971 1.7l. Were cooling fan screens ever used? I see the mounting holes on the fan shroud and I see them for sale for Type 4 engines. However, I have not seen the screens in any of the 914 parts books or manuals.
Thank you for your help. |

You would have to remove it to service the fan belt in a 914. Hassle. In the T-2 to keep your tie out of it.
