Blair finished up the hellhole but was having trouble fabbing up something for the passenger side rot spot. I made a cardboard template and then a metal piece. Then the fun began as I bent, pounded out, shaped and finally drilled 1/4" holes for the puddle welds. Fits good and Blair just has to weld in it.

The 1.7L is now setup to go into the car as I installed the endplay shims, flywheel, seal, PP and clutch. The thermostat went in also so the engine is ready to go! Although it needs a 4 pin TPS to finish up the FI. The aircleaner and elbow came in from Mueller too.

We hooked up the LC1 and ran a bunch of test runs really nailing down the A/F mix on the MPS and now the car really has some power. Running thru the gears at WOT is a blast! blowup.gif
