My Blog

Well, it was a long day today. I got the white car running pretty good and it handles fantastic, a little rough for a daily driver ride wise, it will beat the hell out of you on the freeway. Pulled out the Chalon to get some work done on it. Installed the gauges under the dash after I installed the dash, then I glued in the carpet on the passenger side door rail. Put in the speaker pod to test fit everything. Then I wanted to try to install the front lights in the front bumper. Cant figure that one out yet but I am working on it. Steve and Clayton came by today along with a new member named Geoff. He bought the rootbeer car that Clayton had me selling for him. Matt wanted it but Clayton said first come, first served. Clayton was supposed to bring the Aubergine car over for me to run some tests and take some pictures of it to send to an interested buyer. He promised me he would bring it tomorrow. I went ahead and installed the front bumper/spoiler on the Chalon and took it out for a quick ride to see if it would clear the driveway in and out. Wouldnt do it before. I parked it in front of the garage and did some more work on it. Sat down in my chair and couldnt help but notice how great the car looked to me and reminded myself why I built the Chalon in the first place. The bumper is not quite all the way on but it is close enough for me to see what it will look like. Life is pretty good right now, tomorrow I will get a lot more done.
