My Blog

Wow, been a long summer, as many of you know, I sold the white car to Dan Root after the WCC where the car did quite well on the track. I will attach a picture of it coming around the final turn at Streets of Willow where many cars lost traction and spun out. Mine didnt however, it stuck like glue with the new Falken RT615's installed. It was very impressive. Dan converted the car to a Porsche 6 and is now thinking of keeping the car for himself. As for the Chalon, I replaced the transmission in it after destroying the first one. The new one has a billet intermediate plate, Quaiff LSD and different gearing for the V8. It is much nicer however the speedo never worked in it and after inspection we found the gear in the tail cone was not connected to anything so that is the next order of business. I have not had much time to work on the car at all in the last few months but I am hoping to get things going again so I can drive the car a little more before winter. I need to have a garage cleaning party so I can pull the car into the garage and work on it over the winter time where the elements wont be a hinderence. More to come later. Here is a new picture of the Chalon also. It is now in all white primer.
