These shots, sent to me by Shelby, were taken around May 19, 2006. They show my Bahia Red 72 taken down to bare metal since the old paint was DEAD! You can see Shelby has begun cutting the fenders to prep for the installation of the steel GT flartes I bought from Brad Mayeur.

The 72 was completed in about three weeks and my wife and I drove to East Peoria to pick it up. During the three and a half hour drive home, I noticed that this car was without a doubt faster than my 74. The same 2.2 liter motor was now powering a much lighter car.
