Okay, front spoiler issues...

The class I compete in will not allow the cutting of sheet metal for ducting air to or from the oil cooler, so I can't mount the oil cooler in the front trunk. However, the rules do allow me to mount the oil cooler -into- a front spoiler. So, I went looking at spoilers that had pre-fabricated openeings for oil coolers. The best one appeared to be the RSR style spoiler made by GT racing.

Got the spoiler, and a 42 row, 1/2 width oil cooler. Turns out the specs weren't super clear by the maker of the cooler. And it's just a tad bit too tall to fit into the spoiler opening...

So, now I'm stuck with thinking about what else to do...

1) No oil cooler - not an option
2) Tube-and-fin oil cooler - not much better than the lines going up to the front
3) Custom air dam to fit the oil cooler - PITA -when- the air dam breaks
4) Custom oil cooler to fit the spoiler - Will cost much dinero $$$$
