This is how it looks today,

the car wil be stripped back to receive a fresh coat of paint in the original colour nepal orange (L20c) in december. Then it wil be rebuild with, new brake rotor's, new drive shafts, new seals, new targa vinyl, etc.

The plan is that it will be on the road again before summer starts!

He there,

This is my first atempt to create a blog so I hope it works.

I have my 914 since '98. I used it as a daily driver until '01. In 2002 I got problems with the drive shafts, at this time my pregnant wife and my work took al my time so I dicided to store it for a few month's. These few month's became a few year.......

But now I'm back and determened to finish the car next spring.

The car is a '76 2.0l wich is basicly in a good state. there is no rust (really!) and apart a new battery tray there is no welding done or needed. a rust free ninefourteen is in our north european climate this is a rare thing!

The car is car is original with a good and complete interior with the exeption of the sun visors.

The colour is a non original orange colour. It will be resprayed in the original colour (nepal orange) in december.

Before the car was stored there was already some of the work done.
-new 19mm. master cylinder,
-new brake lines, complete,
-new shift rod bushings,
-recon. engine, new mahle pistons and cylinders, euro 2.0l heads, clutch, etc.
-SS heat exchangers and exhaust,
-wheel bearrings
-FI system cleaned and seals replaced

I'm sure I stil forgetting some things.

Here are some pic's of how it looked like
