Aloha, I hope for this to be a chronicle for all those out there that have relative little experience wtih working on cars. I love cars, not just any cars, 914's. Since I was 4 or 5 years old a Porsche 914 has been my favorite car. As of Saturday, I have 4 Porsche's, 3 of them 914's. 1976 2.0, 1972, 1.7, and I think a 1974 2.0 (have not picked it up yet and verified). My 911SC, Gretchen, not only runs, but feels like an ACME Rocket. The Trinity are not currently running. Schon, my 1976 is completely disassembled, and is going through an Extreme Makeover 914 Edition. Erotisch my 1.7 will be my DD while "Schon: is being pampered. I do not have a name or intentions for the one I am picking up this week, I guess I will have to meet her first!! I will be doing all the work on these cars, with my 5 year old son Yale and my 14 year old daughter Lindzi, and my beautiful wife Gena. I did not work on cars growing up. It was a learn to fix this and that as it arose type of relationship. This blog will detail by far the most extensive work on a car that I have ever tried to learn to do. Check back often and I will post many Pics. And let me say up front. THANK YOU!! Everyone has been awesome in the couple weeks I have been on this board and look forward to sharing our 914s together!! beer.gif
