Aaron,

How bad do you want a turn signal wiper switch? There is a 1977 924 in one of the local u-pull it yards that may have one. I could check it out either Thursday or Friday, (It's supposed to be 101 here tomorrow and I don't think I'll go searching for parts).

Another place that I know has them is NPR - Tekamah. He sells alot on ebay. The direct number for him is 402.374.2781, e-mail is NPRKIRK@huntel.net. His wife, Linda, will more than likely answer the phone or reply to your e-mail. His prices are a little high at times, but if you don't say you heard about it from me you will probably get it for half the price he would quote me. He will treat you fairly.

Hey Aaron,

Just trying to figure out the best way to do that without breaking any plastic. If I get it, I'll post the pic. I bought this thing a couple of years ago off of ebay but hadn't bothered to do the conversion yet.

The VW switch is the same, 111-953-519-G. I bought mine at Bugformance a couple of years ago. The old plastic is difficult to remove without breaking the tabs that hold the pieces together, but it can be done. I think it has both types of washer control to reduce the number of switches that need to be stocked.

It needs the extra red/black and brown wire, then you tyranser the 914 plastic connector to the 924's then you have the extra wires run where the hoses where. I know how to do it!
Equipment required:

924 steering column windshield wiper switch (111-953-519G)
Small 12 volt water pump (I used a VDO pump, 191-955-681)
Multi-strand copper wire suitable for wiring automotive electrical components. I used 18 gauge wire. (Red and black)
Plastic tubing
T-connector (one already exists between your washer nozzles), so you don't really need to buy one.
I can take a picture later if needed.
Wish they made replacement decals or something to replace the white lettering on the arms.
