o.k the speed bleeders are in the mail. i was going to bleed the brakes with a helper ( my reluctant wife) tomorrow. here is my question if i bleed them now and then put on the speed bleeders will i have to go thru the whole process again or should i wait, install the bleeders and then put my wife thru this. That is a good way to do it if you have a compressor/regulator handy at home. At the track you'd need it there too or a air tank/regulator. My '74 doesn't have the overflow hose. It's like it never had one. Where the hose is supposed to be, it is flat and smooth like it was made that way. Does anyone else have a resevoir made like this????
At least the pressure bleeder/spray bottle type is more portable than an compressor when not at home. |
