I'm looking for coco mats for my 914 to help preserve the new carpeting. I know lots of places carry them, but from pictures I've seen, their "custom fit" isn't so custom. They typically go too long and up the pedals, which can be a dangerous hazard while driving (heel could get caught on them, etc.).

For those of you who have these front coco mats, and have nice ones that fit properly, where did you get them or can you recommend somewhere to get them that you know will fit properly and are of good quality?

It's either that or someplace to get good mats that I would customize to read:

914 LE

If you know of a good place to get well-done customized mats as well.

You guys know better than me, so I'll trust the experts. Thanks for your suggestions! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Do you need grommets or attachments? Or do they fit and stay put with just the rubber backing (whichever you have)?

Do they stop short of the pedals or do they go up but have slotted openings for them like the carpet does? Thanks for your input! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

They're pretty high on the passenger side. I'd like to have them just on the floor, not all the way up. Is this how they automatically customized them or did you request they go up that high?

The Sisal are nice too if you want a solid color. They also don't shed as much as the Cocos.

Driver's side looks good. I just don't like how they go all the way up on the passenger side. I'd rather have them just on the floor, not the front wall too. I'm afraid of ordering them and getting them that long. That's what I'm trying to figure out before I order.

I appreciate the pics, guys. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) for coco - tough on polished type shoe heels/backs though!

Try Lloyds for sisal or berber or plush floor mats that you can either pick one of their standard 914 logo embroidery - with or without "PORSCHE" on 2nd line - or do your own custom embroidery locally

Yeah... that would not play nice with my red Gucci slides. Good point. Maybe I should re-think coco and sisal and get something more modern that won't scratch up my shoes. I tend to dress a bit polished. Thanks for that.

Crap. I was looking forward to coco. But wait, don't most of them have that rubber/plastic protective foot pad on the driver's side? Wouldn't that be sufficient? Or no?

i dont know the difference but mine do not go up that far on the passenger side,

bought mine about a year ago for christmas, really look sharp. sometimes wear my dress shoes but never had a problem with them causing a scuffing, these will last a lot longer than any carpet type for sure,

i think you should e-mail them, they will make them for you any size, customize it any way you like! if you want them to stop just above the rubber shoe rest on driver's side they will do that . you can either make a template and send that, or a current mat that fits like you want. I am having one made for the front trunk that matches the floor mats. They are made in Rock Hill Sc., had mine in a week.

no problem with them moving around -

We just got our CocoMats a few weeks ago. Give them a call. Drew at CocoMats was super helpful - even sent me pictures of what the mats would look like.

I did ask about the passenger side going far up - he said they don't because they will eventually fall down. (I guess at one time they did?).

Anyway, true to what everyone here said and what Drew said, the are great.

Couple things - they have got to be the heaviest mats I have ever had; and order soon because they take a LONG time to get - ours took about 4 weeks from the time we placed the order to the time they arrived.
