Thanks for the bump. We hit a snag that may require us to rethink the "elegant" solution. Silly, but its been easier and more reliable to model in the computer using FEA (finite element analysis) to make sure we don't take the clamping parts past the elasticity of the metal.
I really want this to be the best part it can be. |

I am actually holding back my short block build to give the head machinist good numbers because of this very tool.
I might even buy the "prototype version" right now. I made my own Deck Height plate from Al. plate, but I am waiting to see your final product before saying "screw it" and going with my own. Ballpark prices and actual availability dates would be extremely helpful for my build or I will be forced to go without. In fact the position I am in right now, the price might not matter......... I saw on the club forum that the early prototypes are for sale. Any of those left, or are the "final" versions ready? Stu |

OK. I have 14 perfect production units ready to ship. Total is $70 plus shipping. I should be able to do USPS anywhere in the Con US for an additional $10.
PayPal or Personal check accepted. Personal check will need to clear and PayPal will need an additional 3% or pay the PayPal fees (which is an option when you go to pay). Please PM me here and include your address and how many you want. -Aaron |
