Not sure if this is your issue, but I had rattling from both sides and couldn’t forgive it out. Finally seen that the strut cap was wallowed out and wasn’t sitting on the ledge. Welded some huge washers on top of the cap, and now it’s quiet as a field mouse. Attached thumbnail(s)

My cousin lives in Pigeon Forge! Should be able to make it and have a place to stay as well. I can trailer the car and my motorcycle up there so I can ride Deals Gap.
