So, as long as I have had my Six, (February 10, 2010) it was missing the little plastic tether which secures the washer bottle cap to the washer bottle. Apparently they all broke and vanished over the decades. I looked far and wide and then one day, our very own Rick Ollah from Wisconsin sent me one he had. I was blown away by his generosity. That tether is now on my car and it completes the washer bottle assembly. Thank you very much Rick.

Cheers, Michael

Just another one of those 'Cause I could' things again, pay no mind.

I wanted to put in the exterior fuel cap. Went and looked at the kits. And changed my mind. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) But I did come away with something out of it. I noticed they end up bolting to the stock fuel inlet hole on the top of the tank. Hmmm.

I'm trying to get the tank out, fighting me tooth and nail. So took a break and looked at the filler neck:

A little grinding, a little welding, hole saw in the drill press and presto.
