helping someone else....
L-Jet injectors don't fire points set correctly. what would cause something like this to happen? fuel pressure is there so evidentally it's not an issue of the power to the computer. i'm trying to save another 914. tell me what to check on.....i know 0 about L-jet... |

L-jet injectors fire when key on, air flapper open, and coil collapses
first thing to check is the dual relay near the battery and the resistor pack........ |

electricity, namely 12vdc !!!!! do a google search on L-Jet...there are some good websites that'll tell you what every single terminal does on the relay and the wiring harness....... |

the resistor pack is easy to troubleshoot. just look for continuity for the 4 resistors, one for each injector: no broken/open wires. if you have a "Lash", the old clymer book (an old 914 manual, like the haynes), there is a nice pix of the dual relay. maybe you could test it to see if it works properly.
