Thanks guys, I'm actuially having some "flaps" waterjet cut to close the ends better. I should be able to "plug" and cover with smooth flap. These are a little ove a week out. Bringing the other main targa seal repair piece actually slowed it sligtly. Amother posting next week.

These will be in hand this next week. I don't want to start taking any cash until I can confirm a ship date. I'll be posting more this upcoming week. I appreciate your patience. I was trying to get the other repair sedal for the top front 3 part seal and I've been it school for a new position at my day job, so my attention has been more focused on that. Otherwise these would be done.

Here's pictures of the fitted pieces. you can see from the first picture how the seal allows the glass across the first lip and that's the first barrier, it also touches the back of the glass.

the original seals had a hole drilled into the extrusion for a screw that kept the extrusion from sliding around. This is a tight fit and I do not believe that it will be necessary. The parts is shown with a hand cut piece of rubber that's glued onto the extrusion. I'm actually having the ends water jet cut for a more presise fit and more finished look these will be done next week. I'm planning to start shipping these after the Thanksgiving weekend. I'll be contacting all this weekend to confirm orders.
I hope this answers some of the questions on how the seal will work. Unfortunately these will install like OEM, the outside is fitted into the track and the inside is pushed in 1/4" at a time. I used a butter knife, but if anyone has any better ideas of how the OEM seals would install easier I'm sure it would work on these also.
Thanks All.

More
The last picture really shows how the vertical targa seal (the one on the sail) has the glass sit on it, and the upper has a lip that the glass just clears to help seal out the water.

Is it too late to get in on this? I could really use a set too? No rush on when I get it, just sometime before next spring would be good! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Cheers,

I can go either way , but it's easier to go plugged. But, there are those that want to save a few $.
